Pindar Van Arman needed help training diffusion models on his own artwork. I did it because it was interesting — no expectation of a collection resulting.
Pindar made an entire collection from the trained models, then compensated me for my time and gave co-author credit. His position, stated explicitly: studio workers who help make art deserve credit. Most artists don’t give it.
Pindar credited me twice across different projects. That’s not an accident. It’s a position about how collaboration should work.
